By accessing, browsing, or purchasing from this website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

3. Eligibility

You confirm you are legally capable of entering into a binding contract under applicable laws.

4. Product Information & Visual Representation

  • Product images are for illustration. Color/finish may vary due to lighting, screen settings, wood grain, fabric batch, and natural material variation.
  • Dimensions, features, and specifications shown on product pages are indicative unless explicitly stated as “final.”
  • For configurable/custom products (e.g., size, orientation, fabric, polish), the final specification is what is confirmed via order details / invoice / written confirmation.

5. Pricing, Taxes & Errors

  • Prices are shown in INR. Any applicable taxes/charges are shown at checkout and/or on invoice.
  • We may correct pricing/typographical errors and cancel/refund orders affected by obvious errors, even after an order is placed.

6. Orders & Acceptance

  • Placing an order is an offer to purchase. The order is accepted only when we confirm it (including via order confirmation/invoice/shipment confirmation).
  • We may refuse/cancel orders for reasons including stock unavailability, address/serviceability limits, suspected fraud, or pricing errors.

7. Payments

  • Payments may be processed via third-party payment gateways/banks; their terms may also apply.
  • We are not responsible for issues originating at the bank/payment gateway level (while we will reasonably assist).

8. Delivery, Access & Installation (Summary)

Delivery and timelines vary by product and location. Full details are in our Shipping & Delivery Policy (Section 3 below).

Customer must ensure safe access for delivery (door/lift/staircase clearance). Re-delivery/extra handling charges may apply if access is not available.

9. Cancellations, Returns, Refunds (Summary)

All cancellations/returns/refunds are governed by our Cancellation, Return & Refund Policy (Section 4 below).

We do not impose cancellation charges on consumers unless similar charges are borne by us when we cancel unilaterally.

10. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • provide accurate contact, GST (if applicable), and delivery details;
  • check product details (size, color, configuration) before ordering;
  • inspect items at delivery and report issues as per policy timelines.

11. Warranty & Service

Warranty (if any) depends on product type and is described on the product page, invoice, or a separate warranty document. Normal wear & tear, misuse, improper handling, and unauthorized repairs are excluded.

12. Intellectual Property

All content on this website (text, images, designs, logos) is our property or used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit without written permission.

13. User Content (Reviews/Uploads)

If you post reviews/photos, you grant us a non-exclusive right to use them for display/marketing. You must not post illegal, offensive, or infringing content.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages (loss of profit, business interruption, etc.). Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific order in dispute.

15. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delay/failure caused by events beyond reasonable control (natural disasters, strikes, transport disruption, regulatory actions, etc.).

We may update these Terms periodically. Updated terms apply from the “Last updated” date.

17. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts with competent jurisdiction in India will have authority over disputes (you may specify the exact city/district if you want).

3) SHIPPING & DELIVERY POLICY

1. Serviceable Locations

We deliver to locations within India based on courier/transporter availability. Some pin codes may be non-serviceable for certain large items.

2. Dispatch & Delivery Timelines

  • Delivery timelines vary by product type, stock availability, customization, and delivery location.
  • After order confirmation, we will share an estimated dispatch/delivery timeline via call/SMS/WhatsApp/email.

3. Shipping Charges

Shipping/handling charges (if applicable) are shown at checkout and/or on invoice. For bulky items, charges may vary by floor level, entry constraints, and special handling needs.

4. Delivery Conditions (Important for Furniture)

Customer must ensure:

  • correct address and reachable phone number,
  • access for vehicle parking (where possible),
  • sufficient entry clearance (door width, staircase turns, lift size).
    If delivery fails due to access issues or customer unavailability, re-delivery/extra handling charges may apply.

5. Installation/Assembly

If installation/assembly is included or available, it will be communicated at the time of order or delivery scheduling. Certain items may require basic assembly by the customer unless installation is explicitly confirmed.

6. Damage During Transit / Missing Items

  • Please inspect the packaging and product at the time of delivery.
  • If you notice visible damage, take photos/video and inform us immediately (or within the time mentioned in the Return/Refund Policy).

7. Delays

Delays can occur due to transport disruption, weather, strikes, regulatory checks, or other force majeure events. We will keep you informed.

4) CANCELLATION, RETURN & REFUND POLICY

1. Order Cancellation (Before Dispatch)

  • You may request cancellation before dispatch by contacting Customer Care.
  • If we cancel an order unilaterally, we will refund the amount paid as per this policy.

Cancellation Charges: We do not impose cancellation charges on consumers unless similar charges are also borne by us when we cancel unilaterally.

2. Made-to-Order / Customized Products

For products made-to-order or customized (size, fabric, polish, configuration, special order):

  • cancellation requests may not be possible once production/processing starts, or may involve deduction of actual costs already incurred (materials, labor, transport booking).
    (You can tighten/relax this based on your business practice.)

3. Returns (Eligibility)

Returns are accepted only in these cases:

  • item delivered is damaged (beyond acceptable transit wear),
  • item is defective / has manufacturing fault,
  • item is wrong item (different from the confirmed order).

Change-of-mind returns for large furniture are generally not accepted unless explicitly stated on the product page (because of size, hygiene, and handling constraints).

4. Reporting Window (Damage/Defect/Wrong Item)

  • At delivery: If possible, report immediately at the time of delivery/installation and record photos/video.
  • After delivery: Report within 48 hours of delivery with photos/videos and order details.

5. Inspection & Resolution

After receiving your complaint, we may:

  • request additional photos/videos,
  • arrange inspection (physical or video call),
  • offer replacement/repair/part replacement/refund depending on the issue and feasibility.

6. Refunds (Method & Timing)

Refunds are processed to the original payment method (or as otherwise mutually agreed).

We will effect payments towards accepted refund requests within a reasonable time, as required.

7. Non-Returnable Items (Examples)

  • customized/made-to-order items after production begins,
  • items damaged due to misuse, improper handling, or unauthorized repairs,
  • normal wear and tear,
  • minor shade/texture variations inherent to natural wood/fabric.

Warranty Terms & Conditions

1. No Warranty on Fabrics & Upholstery:

All products sold by Home Comforts do not carry any warranty/guarantee on fabrics, foam, rexine, leatherette, polish, stitching, or upholstery including sofas, dining chairs, bedroom furniture, wooden beds, office furniture, revolving chairs, and upholstered products.

2. Imported Products:

Imported items do not carry any warranty/guarantee. Free service will be provided only within 1 year from the purchase date. After 1 year, service charges will apply.

3. Valid Purchase:

Warranty is valid only for products purchased from an authorized Home Comforts store and must be supported by a valid invoice.

4. Manufacturing Defects Only:

Warranty covers only failures caused by manufacturing defects and does not cover damages due to usage, handling, or external factors.

5. Mattress Sagging Policy:

Sagging will be considered only if it exceeds 1.5 inch for mattresses up to 6 inch thickness and 2 inch for mattresses above 6 inch thickness.

6. Normal Wear & Tear:

Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear including fabric fading, stitch loosening, or cushion softening over time.

7. Comfort Preference:

Warranty does not cover personal comfort preferences including firmness, softness, or feel of mattress/sofa.

8. Improper Usage:

Warranty will be void if damage is caused by improper bed support, uneven surface, wrong size, poor bed design, sharp objects, or mishandling.

9. Ironing / Heat Damage:

Damage caused by ironing, heating, or exposure to high temperature will not be covered.

10. Stitch / Quilt Opening:

Stitch or quilt opening reported after 10 days of delivery will not be covered. Loose quilt reported after 15 days of delivery will not be covered.

11. Size Variation:

Size variation up to ±1 inch is considered normal. Mattress may take 3–4 days to settle after unpacking.

12. Moisture / Liquid Damage:

Warranty does not cover damage caused by water, liquid spills, moisture, humidity, or environmental conditions.

13. External Damage:

Warranty does not cover damage caused by insects, rodents, pests, natural calamities, or mishandling by the user.

14. Proper Usage:

Warranty is valid only when the product is used properly and maintained under normal household conditions.

15. Product Relocation:

Relocating the product from the original delivery address voids the warranty.

16. Unauthorized Repairs:

Warranty becomes void if the product is repaired, opened, modified, or serviced by unauthorized persons.

17. Hygiene Condition:

Products kept in unsanitary or unsafe conditions may be rejected for inspection and may void the warranty.

18. Final Decision:

Home Comforts Furniture reserves the final right to approve or reject any warranty claim.

19. Jurisdiction:

All disputes are subject to Rajahmundry jurisdiction only.

20. Self Delivery:

If the product is taken from our store through self-delivery/your own transport,

any damage during transportation will not be covered under warranty.
